Our Remodeling Process
Initial Meeting: Our first step is typically a comprehensive in-person consultation where we'll discuss your vision and ideas for the kitchen remodel. We'll listen carefully to your needs and offer kitchen design suggestions and remodeling strategies for improving the space as cost-efficiently as possible. We'll answer all your questions and share information about our company as well as our project portfolio, which may offer inspiration if you're not exactly sure about materials or space layout.
Kitchen Design and Project Review: If you decide to entrust us with your project, we'll work closely with you to determine which materials will be needed for the project and provide you with an itemized bid. We'll review the design plans for feasibility to ensure everyone is on the same page. Certain materials (e.g., kitchen cabinets, kitchen island, pantry barn-style sliding doors) may have a lead time of several weeks, and we'll also need time to draw up a detailed construction schedule, apply for permits, and coordinate with the construction crew. We'll explain all of this in detail.
Set a Start Date:
Once we have all the needed materials and have acquired the permits necessary for the job, we can set a date to begin construction. We'll arrange a pre-construction meeting at your house, ideally bringing all parties involved —the job-site supervisor, designer, architect (if applicable), and any key crew members — to tour the home and cover exactly what's required to do the project and how the process will unfold. During this meeting, we'll establish your primary contact person and tie up any loose ends before construction begins.
Caring for Your Home During the Process
Depending on the extent of the construction, it may be necessary to empty your kitchen of its contents; we can help set up a mini-kitchen in another part of the house if needed. Before construction, we'll set up a portable toilet and construction fence for the crew.
Our crew will strive to minimize disruptions to your home during the kitchen remodeling process. We'll always clean up after ourselves and do everything possible to limit dust and debris using plastic sheeting and other measures.
